AS far as this self portrait goes I love how the catchlight is not in the centre part of the eye gives it a totally different feel. the light has been controlled really well great graduation of tone across the face and pin sharp on the eyes.
New York is totally awesome! Going way better than I could have hoped for. I've got a fulltime job at a branding agency shooting photo and video for a lot of different clients. You can see some of the stuff I make, along with graphics produced by our two designers here: [link]
And it's pretty amazing, there is a huge community of SCAD grads up here.. We just had a pre-thanksgiving dinner party and there were over 20 people who either graduated with me, or the year after me.
Sounds like a little pocket of Savannah. It's great when that kind of thing happens. you know you always have people you can turn to in a place that I'm sure is over whelming at times.
Well during my whole stay in the states thi time itterally only had a morning to explore the lower east side before heading off to camp and no time on my return just straight to the airport. It would hae been good to catchup but I'll be back next summer so we'll have to make it happen.
